Advanced Custom Fields, AKA, ACF, is a plugin we use in almost all our projects. We use it to create an easy-to-use interface for the final user/webmaster of the website we deliver.
With custom fields, we create different fields for static types of content. Lets say that you want to display properties on your website. Every property will display the same type of content, like price, size, area, type and so on. For every type of data, we create a specific field. When you add a new property to your website, you will only fill in the actual value, like “128” in the field for size, and “32000” for price.
When the property is published, every field will be printed in its place. You will not need to have any knowledge about coding at all, everything just falls into its place.
With ACF it is also possible to select where a pin on a google map should be placed, which posts is related to the post you are creating, and we can even create a sort of a page builder with ACF. For us at Gecko Do It, ACF is one of the best WordPress plugins
